We offer a range of services to help our clients reach and exceed their fitness goals.

From 1-on-1 personal training that is tailored completely to your needs, to group fitness classes for anyone between the ages of 8 to 80+, we've got it all at Lyceum.

What We Do

Personal Training

Personal Training focuses on the improvement of general fitness, body composition, postural improvements, weight management as well as health and lifestyle.

Strength & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning (S&C) programming is designed for people that have specific sporting goals. It involves a needs analysis for the sport, a needs analysis of the athlete or screening, a gap analysis to identify what the athlete needs to focus on and then a training intervention and programming. During the programing, the coach will monitor, review and adapt the training in order to get the best results for the athlete.

Group Fitness Classes

Our fitness classes are designed to make you feel energised, challenged and invigorated.

We offer small group Personal Training in our studio, or large group classes taking you outside. Each class is tailored to your ability with an emphasis on maximising your potential.

Metabolic Testing

At Lyceum Fit we do three different types of metabolic testing. This includes a resting metabolic rate (RMR) test, a breathing capacity test and a VO2 max test. The RMR test is the most accurate way of calculating the amount of calories you burn in a day and the fuel source you use (carbohydrates or fats). The breathing capacity test will identify any limitations to your breathing and what respiratory training might be appropriate. Lastly, a VO2 max test will tell you the maximum amount of oxygen the body can utilise. This can tell you the most accurate training zones and the energy you require at these intensities. Your VO2 max is a key determinant of aerobic performance.
